Why we built FlowTask Training
When we started scaling FlowTask, we ran into the same hiring problem every high-velocity engineering startup faces: hundreds of applicants with certificates in hand, but almost none who knew how to debug a broken Docker container, write an idempotent database migration, or navigate a real GitHub pull request discussion.
Traditional university computer science teaches abstract theory. Online bootcamps teach learners how to copy-paste pre-built tutorials for toy clone apps. Neither environment teaches the unglamorous, critical realities of shipping production software.
The Apprentice Pipeline
Instead of complaining about a talent shortage, we built our own internal training pipeline. The same engineers who write FlowTask's core memory engine designed this curriculum. In month 4, interns write code that actually gets merged into our product.
Our philosophy is simple: Same team. Same engineering standards. Real production code. When you graduate from the Training & Internship program, you don't just hold a PDF certificate - you have verifiable merged commits in a production codebase.
